Qualifying new craftspeople through conception and elaboration of quality training projects that dignify and promote jobs related to handcraft, making them attractive to young people who seek a professional career. Active workers training, in a concept of lifelong learning in Technology, Design, Quality, Business Management and Promotion and Merchandising. Developing innovating projects in design areas, allying tradition and modernity, contributing to bring innovation to traditional arts and crafts. Certifying acquired skills through adults’ life experience, giving them school progression up to 6th, 9th or 12th grade and/or vocational certification. Drawing up studies and projects that develop innovating contents, methods and instruments to support handcrafts vocational training. Participation in international projects that stimulate culture, european spirit, and partnerships and that promote interchange and mobility in arts and crafts. Training services development, from needs diagnostic and training contents production to execution, coordination and supervision of training actions. Specialized technical support to craftspeople and small companies, adjusted to their needs. Creation of national partnerships in order to dignify, organise, regulate, develop and modernize Arts and Crafts. Gather, systematize and make updated information available to handcraft professionals, technicians, trainers and all interested in the area, through Handcraft Knowledge Resources Centre.
