CEARTE, from its head office in Coimbra, develops its activity all over the country in a flexible and decentralized way. With this purpose, it counts with 3 permanent infrastructures – head office in Coimbra, training branches in Semide (Miranda do Corvo) and Cabaços (Alvaiázere) and permanent accommodation in Aveiro’s Vocational Training Centre. When necessary, CEARTE also uses other accommodations in order to decentralize the training courses and bring them closer to their addressees.Because we believe in integrated projects, CEARTE’s intervention requires the contribution of local institutions and regional services, mainly Job Centres, Autarchies, Local Development Associations, Craftspeople Associations, Patrimony Defence Groups, which always shows as important agents in training actions and employment initiatives. In professional development training the Centre finds it essential to celebrate corporation protocols with Craftspeople and Development Associations as a way to involve the different institutions, decentralize training actions and facilitate their attendance by craftspeople.
